I’m making the switch because it turns out trying to set up so much regular content ahead of time is very time-consuming and laborious, and leaves very little opportunity and energy to make new videos! So I’m hoping a PPV model will let me relax a little, and just put up new content when I can, instead of having to set aside a chunk of time to set up a bunch of scheduled posts every few weeks.
Unfortunately the process of closing one OF account to switch to another is gonna be kind of messy–OF doesn’t let me prevent new subscribers without deleting the whole account, and I don’t want to delete @topless-topics until @toplesstopicsfree has finally be approved. I believe, from reading their guidelines, that as soon as I delete @topless-topics, anyone who has paid within that month will have their payments refunded. But in case there’s a problem with this, and/or so I can stay in contact with you once the OF account is closed, PLEASE contact me using one of the following, and let me know what your OF account name is, so I can make sure to deliver the content promised to you through tips, etc:
So at the advice of quite a few of you guys, I thought I might as well give this OnlyFans thing a swing and keep some of my content in reserve (and have sub-only livestreams on Saturday night) for subs, then dole out the free stuff a week or two after each post goes up sub-only.
It feels weird to put a price tag on anything, but I’m just gonna say this bluntly: as much as I care about the topless-equality and normalize-nudity causes, I’m just too sick and tired of doing all that I do, endless hours of recording, editing, promoting etc. each and every day, not to mention spending my own money (or having to borrow from my husband) for all the costs that go into making and maintaining Topless Topics, like video hosting and paying off my recording shed.
So, as icky as it feels, I’m gonna try setting up a subscription model like I said, and seeing if there really are supporters out there who care enough about the cause to put some “money where their mouth is.”
Or, rather, I might as well start charging the legions of perverts who’ve just been gleefully masturbating to my content totally for free. As Edyn Blair said in my interview with her, “if they’re going to sexually objectify me anyway, I might as well make some money off of it!”
Please note that this does NOT mean I’ll be posting actually sexual content–I am not and never will be a “porn star,” though I have the utmost respect for those who DO choose to do sex work, and hope to have many future interviews with sex workers from a variety of genres and mediums, maybe even some live interviews with other OnlyFans creators right on my weekly livestreams!
Anyway, we’ll see how this works, fingers crossed it would be nice to at least break even for once.
Like I said, everything I create will still be posted for free eventually, so you don’t need to pay for it if you can be patient!
