Well, looks like some forced-birthers and anti-women’s rights types weren’t too happy with this video I had up for OVER TWO YEARS, as the good algorithms at Youtube have just removed yet another of my videos and hit me with a “community guidelines strike,” which in case you’re unaware, three strikes means my whole account gets deleted! WEEEEEEE!!
If you’re as pissed off as I am about this, there really aren’t any live people working at Youtube anymore to try to reach with an appeal. But you can vent your spleen at them anyway, here’s a bunch of contact links that most likely don’t go anywhere: https://www.youtube.com/t/contact_us Or you can tweet @Youtube on Twitter, also a total waste of time!
Alternatively, we can use this as impetus to just keep trying harder and longer to reach enough people that social media giants finally realize it’s in their financial interest to STOP enabling rape culture by labeling women’s bodies as “profane, pornographic, sexual objects” and banning them outright. You can do that in the usual ways–by sharing links to relevant #freethenipple videos, pictures and blog posts with friends and family, by leaving thoughtful comments of support on said content so the only comments aren’t insults and fetish requests, and if you’re feeling up to it, producing your own #freethenipple content for the world to share! Post it to your own site, or to a social media site (just be aware if you “look female” your #freethenipple content will most likely get banned, but you can always keep making new accounts until there are too many uploads for the algorithms to catch them all!) or submit the posts to firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll feature them here!
And if you’re curious to see the oh-so-heinous video that Youtube suddenly decided to ban (based on a fresh influx of false flags from forced-birthers and perverts angry I won’t enact their fetish requests), here’s the EXACT SAME VIDEO uploaded contemporaneously to Vimeo:
Anyway, thanks for the support, and let’s keep fighting! Maybe we can witness realistic progress towards equality between all genders within our lifetimes! (Or our children’s lifetimes, or grandchildren’s lifetimes…hell, whatever it takes, right?)
